Room Change Requests

Requests for specific residence halls and roommates made at the time of applicationĚýare not guaranteed. As move-in approaches, the Housing Department isĚýnot accepting room change or roommate change requests. Warren Franklin Hall, Tubman Laws Hall, University Courtyard and University Village are all full and have extensive waiting lists. As they are lengthy, no more students will be added to these waiting lists.

The Housing Department cannot give updates about your status on the waiting lists. If space becomes available, you will be notified.ĚýĚý

Housing and Roommate Assignments

Almost all housing assignments have been finalized. If you have not already, students will receive automated emails with details on assignments, roommates and suitemates. If you received an assignment earlier, it is possible it has changed as we have continued to make assignments. As noted in the email, assignments may change. We apologize for the inconvenience if you had already been in touch with roommates or suitemates, but are not able to make further changes.

The deadline for applications was August 4, 2023. Applications are no longer being accepted.

How Can I Get in Touch with Someone?

The Housing Department is working to respond to questions and concerns while also answering the high volume of calls and emails. Our office hours are 9:00 – 4:30 Monday through Friday. If you are calling or emailing, please be sure to give your name, D number, and details about your question or concern. Our ability to respond to general room change requests is very limited.

The following buildings are full and are not available for room change requests:

• Warren Franklin Hall
• Tubman Laws Hall
• University Courtyard
• University Village

• All financial obligations must be paid or on a payment plan and health forms submitted prior to move in
• Move in is from 9 am – 6 pm ONLY
• NO early move-ins will be allowed
