Military/Veteran Students
Pre-Registration for Spring 2024 will begin on 11/27/2023 on Dover Air Force Base in the Education building 261 in Rm 302. Registration will not end until 12/1/2023. Please come to the office on base to select your classes as well as fill out a course selection form. Once the form is complete, I will bring all the forms back to the main campus and register for all the classes on 12/4/2023. If you have any questions, please feel free to email me or come see me on base starting 11/27/2023.

Internship Program
We hope this transition into the Fall 2023 Semester is going smoothly for your team. As students begin to arrive back to campus, we want to share a paid opportunity for your students & staff. Theis accepting up to 4 military-connected individuals onto our team!
We are happy to extend the openings for our Fall 2023 VETSxHBCUuntil August 20th, 2023. This internship is open to the military-connected community: ROTC cadets, servicemembers, veterans, spouses, and dependents. We are proud to pay our interns a livable wage, as well, and interns will be paid bi-weekly throughout the Fall 2023 semester.

Yellow Ribbon Program is no longer honored at Delaware State University.
Delaware State University offers excellent educational benefits to our military and veteran students, including:
- The in-state application will be open on 4/17/2023 and will close the first day after the semester starts. If you are a veteran student that has a Certificate of Eligibility you are eligible to receive in-state tuition. Please fill out the in-state application and submit a copy of your Certificate of Eligibility as your supporting document. You will email the application and your supporting document(s)toregistrardocs [at] desu.edu. Once a decision has been made you will be notified, and your status will change to in-state.
- Every Veteran student will need to call 1-888-442-4551 at the beginning of every semester you are certified for to verify your enrollment at Delaware State University. This is mandatory in order to receive any money for your education.
- Six elective credits based on their discharge papers (eligible and enrolled students).
- In-state tuition for active duty military students and National Guard and Reserve members who are stationed in Delaware.Authorizedmilitary dependents are eligible to receive In-state tuition.
- In-state tuition iseligible for Chapters 30,31,32,33,35 and 1606 with a Certificate of Eligibility.
- Recognition of the American Council on Education-recommended college credits for professional military education, training courses and occupational experience of service members and veterans.
- Coordination of vocational, educational and professional counseling, evaluation of abilities and aptitudes, tutoring and rehabilitative services, and VA Work-Study opportunities available from the Department of Veterans Affairs.
